Rudolph Day for April 2018

Good afternoon and I'm skating in at the last moment with a card for April's Rudolph Day. Just by the skin of my teeth, but what the hey, here I am! Been busy, what can I say?

- Navy Blue Card stock

- Penny Black Snowflake die (cut one from glitter paper, one from white card stock, rotated slightly when layering)

- S/B fancy square die for the square background on the snowflake.

- VOS for the blue check dp behind the s/b die.

- embossed with a Snowflake EF... dabbed Tsukineko Delicata White glimmer, then silver glimmer over the embossed snowflakes

- Joanna Sheen Brittania word dies (some of my very first word dies, thanks to Mrs. A, who told me about them) 2 layers, heat embossed with Brutus Monroe Sterling EP.

Very simple card, but I like the sparkle. There's still a few hours before April's Rudolph Day closes, so maybe you can sneak in behind me!

Ya'll have a nice afternoon; I'll be doing some catch up commenting, and maybe plant a few plants we bought over the weekend. I got them home and thought "now WHY did I go buy this stuff?"

Thanks for joining me and come on back when you can! Hugs & Blessings.

  2. I just love the way you die cut 2 snowflakes and mingled them together for such a stunning look! It's impressive with just the right amount of sparkle and I really like the blue colored background too! Way to slide in just under the wire in grand fashion! LOL

  4. Oh Mary! This card is stunning. Loving this beautiful die and I like that you double layered it. So stunning...

Thanks for taking part in the April Rudolph Days Challenge.

We had a few days of lovely hot weather and I managed to pot up 4 hanging baskets and 6 huge 2x2 foot tubs. I hope we will have lots of blooms this year. It is pouring rain again for a few days so it should wash in the fertilizer I added!
I bought 6 hanging baskets at Costco for the back deck though, as that is where we spend most of our outdoor time. We wanted the instant size of the Costco ones. They are already bursting full of blooms.
