Top O' the Morning!
And a Happy St. Patrick's Day it 'tis to ya! Life has been busy at our house of late, just can't seem to get with it on card making and blogging. The 4th Blogaversary came & went, but there IS some blog candy ready, just didn't have time to photo and write a post about it!
We got the damaged car back & it seems to have been repaired ok. Today will be my first drive when I go for a much-needed hair trim. DH has driven it, says it seems ok to him.
Had made a few St. Pat's cards, but didn't get a single one in the mail in time. So guess that means I'm ahead of the game for next year. But I did manage to finish up one that had been started with Mr. in mind. He likes frogs.
- Whipper Snapper image (I think!) colored with copics, a bit of WoS and some Glossy Accents on the eyes, water splashes & Lucky. Of course photo doesn't show it. S/B Deckled oval to die cut Mr. Frog.
- VOS (very old stuff) design papers and a Sue Wilson die to cut the snippet sentiment. A few tiny green sequins and that's all the luck this little froggie has about him. DH liked him.
Please check in on the Cards By Friends tab as there are some cute new cards we've received. Enjoy them with us!
Thanks for checking in - hopefully one of these spring days, life will get back to where I will be finishing up some cards and posting. For the moment, Mr. MoJo is on walkabout and Life is busy anyway. Big hugs.
Wow, so many shades of green! A real St. Patrickday card! With a fun frog! Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad the car is ok Mary.
ReplyDeleteI like frogs and love your card. What a super image he is and perfect for the occasion. Our last dog ate a frog when she was a puppy. She was really ill but we took it in turns to puppysit for 2 days. Sadly dear Maggy now rests in our garden. But she did live till 13. Barbxx

ReplyDeleteHi Mary,
ReplyDeleteLoved Mr Lucky the frog and the spring like green. They had a St Pat's afternoon tea in the cafe at the home DH is in and we spent a pleasant hour with Irish songs, green icing on cakes and staff dressed as leprechauns etc.
The lifestyle crew are really good at this. Enjoy your spring today is like winter here,
Hugs

You made a great St. Patty's Day card for Mr. Joe, Mary! I'm sure he loved it! I do miss having you blog, but I know how it goes and I'm looking forward to when things calm down around the house and your mojo juices start flowing again! I do have a little one-day affair happening at my place on April Fool's Day that I think is right up your alley. I hope you can join in!! Big hugs and I hope the car is in great shape! Darnell
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great St. Pat's Day without any pinches! I cooked corned beef and we really enjoyed it. Love your card! Frogs are perfect for St. Pat's day. I'll have to remember that next year. Don't usually make very many of those. Hope all is well. Spring has sprung in NC. I'm sure it has in SC too.
