Welcome and thanks for stopping in for a visit. Will cut right to the chase & show the card.
- Image is a from a clear Hampton Art Halloween set, and the greeting is from an Inky Antics clear fall set. Image stamped on a square snippet left over from cutting the center from another project die - just the right size to stamp this cute little image. Colored with copics and some WoS.
- die trim pieces were from an experiment working with mixed media paper, some water colors & Dale Rowney pearlescent inks. Looked good, but then used a PB Halloween tree stamp inked with Versafine black (image is quite detailed). Did NOT stamp sharply on the mixed media paper (or the previous ink layers could have added to the problem) - even using the Bonnie's Best Stamp press. Liked the inky colors so decided to use it as the scalloped mat, the trim dies, rather than toss it.
- Die trims were from a S/Binder die (think it was Resplendant Rectangle). Hunted through the die stash to find something that would work with the remains after cutting the scallop mat.
- Flower was a freebie in a recent order and sponged Fluid Chalk Pumpkin Spice over to work better with the colors of the pumpkin. Card base is a textured orange Bazzill that has been hanging around the desk for a while.
That's it! Wishing all a Happy Friday, and sending big Hugs your way.
Edit: Thanks to some very sweet bloggers giving me a heads up on the Scrapy Land Challenge#3 this card will be submitted there. This is an Anything Goes Challenge using any brand of die sold by Scrapy Land. So thanks to those bloggers who gave me a shout about this challenge.
