Good Morning, and it's time again for the April 2016 Rudolph Day Challenge (which starts on the 25th of each month and is open until the last day of each month). Since I missed joining in the fun last month, I wanted to be sure to playl along in April. Actually the card today was meant to be in last month's challenge...had the image colored, but just never got round to making a card with it. So here 'tis:
_ Whipper Snapper image, colored with copics, and it was really fun to color this trio of cuties. Some WoS for a little sparkle. Added some Sparkle n Sprinkle white flocking to the pom-poms on the hats, and some SnS Twinkling Clouds to make snow on the branches.
- S/B Curvy Rectangle die cut the image, and tracing around the outer edges of the same die, created the red faux mat.
- Viva Décor Mother of Pearl modeling crème applied using THoltz Layering Stencil Snowflakes and a Dreamweaver Snowflakes Stencil.
- Sticker sentiment and added some sparkling snowflake stickers as a final touch.
Now I'm off to link up at April's Rudolph Day Challenge, where there are some nifty prizes on offer, as well as some terrific inspiration to get you excited for adding one more card to your Christmas stash. Why don't you just com'on along, and have some fun!
Thanks for joining me this morning, hope your day is off to a fine start. Big hugs.
It was worth the wait Mary, that little trio is so cute and are set off perfectly by that fantastic pearly background, I have stencils in my stash yet never use them!! xx
