This little hedgie is such a cutie. Penny Black hedgie is one of my favorite images to color with copics...I guess because I felt my first 'successful attempts' happened trying to render the hedgehog. This one just appealed to me because it is so laid back, it just looks like summer. Of course it was colored with copics. Then I decided to make a shaped card from the image, so used the S/Binder Dahlia, #6. This was the largest image in the set - so it would have been a little harder to mat it. Thus the idea to make the shaped card. I took some lightweight green c/s, used the die to cut the same dahlia shape, without cutting through the top hinge. Adhered the previously diecut image onto that cardstock. Used a text wt. white piece to cut a smaller insert, also leaving a hinge at the top, for the inside sentiment. This is going to be an anniversary card for one of my brothers & sis-in-law. I think they'll like it. (Hope so, anyway!). Have a great day. See you soon.
Fabulous shaped card, Mary! Love that image and your coloring is superb. I'm sure they'll love it, I do.
