Good evening, Sweet Bloggers. Thanks for popping by. It's been a hot day here at our house, but we just enjoyed a nice dinner with #2 Bro & SIL...some good southern bbq. Yummy.
Now on to the card for tonight:
- Background was made with Eileen Godwin's Ranger Spritzer tool and Brushos.
- Die cut with a Sue Wilson die - forget which one! But if anyone wants to know, I will happily provide the info.
- Lavinia Stamp - Dancing Til Dawn - stamped in Versafine Olympia Green using the Misti. Stamped it twice to get good coverage. Then sprayed the piece with Tattered Angels gold spray mist, let it dry.
- Another SWilson die cut the black cardstock base. Again, not sure which one, but can add the info.
- Turquoise blue glitter paper behind the filigree.
Left the sentiment off the front, and have it as part of the inside verse.
This is my first Lavinia die. I wanted to get the Poppy Pods seen on Eileen's Brusho video. Since the shipping was a bit pricey, got a few other stamps in the order. This is the first fairy stamp I have, and now I see another one that I'm longing for. Oh me...
Enjoy your evening, and as always, thanks for your visit. Come again when you can. Big hugs.
Very nice!
ReplyDeleteWarm weather Mary ? An alien concept here in the Uk so far this year, a few slightly warmer days a couple of weeks ago but in the main cold and wet.
ReplyDeleteLovely brusho background and effective stamping.

The Sue Wilson filigree die with the pretty turquoise glitter paper behind is very pretty too. Glad your weather is hotting up and you enjoyed a family barbecue. Apart from a couple of warmer weeks in April our weather has been quite wet and cool although it is dry and a bit warmer here today. x

Wow Momma Mary, this is a cool card! I love that background you created with the brushos, and I love the die shapes. Especially the black one! Those little fairies are just to cute. I was just looking at these Lavinia stamps on Tupelo Designs LLC as I had never seen them before. There sure are some cute ones too. So I can see that you might have your eye on another one. lol I don't own any as of yet. Who knows what the future will bring. lol How's that Misti working out for you? I have only used mine a little, but sure am loving it. Hugs, Brenda

Brilliant card and love the way you have really got to grips with the Brusho. As well as Butterflies I am not really a fairy fan but the image goes so well on the background

A great background for the lovely Lavinia fairies. Gorgeous card! I love the Lavinia silhouette fairy stamps, although I haven't got this one yet. I'm off to a 'crop and craft day' tomorrow, where we all do our own thing, and I've just packed all my Lavinia stamps to make some cards. Great minds think alike!! xx
ReplyDeleteMary this is amazing - love the way the dancers seem to be floating on the vivid background - like looking at them dancing by a fire in a grotto at night.
