Penny Black Hello Dear Happy Birthday



Good afternoon and so glad you could pop in for a Monday visit. Today's card has been received so can now be shared with you. Hope that you had a happy & lovely weekend.

 

 

 

 

 

- Penny Black Hello Dear image, colored with copics, some WoS added, and die cut with a stitched rectangle (either MFT or Lil Inkers). While still in the die, used Distress inks in blue & green tones to do some edge shading.  A fine line Staedtler pen was used to add detail on the grass. (the Amazon link is cheaper than the price paid at Target...but then you'd probably have shipping. These are great fine line pens though).

 

- background is either done with Brusho or Dylusion sprays, and then embossed. It was a piece that was done previously, and I'm sorry I don't remember the specs for it.

 

- Darice Lily die also cut from a similarly done piece. The tiny flicks of gold in the lily fronds came from the negative pieces of the sentiment outline sticker. After the card had been finished, the lily looked as though it could use a bit more detail. Saw the bits on the sticker sheet and hmmm...maybe that might add a little more detail. What do you think?
