Welcome, thanks for popping in to say hello to a cute Art Impressions little leprechaun. Doesn't seem to be available at AI website though, which is a shame. I think this little guy is far more appealing than some of their 'ladies' stamps so popular just now.
- AI Cling UMM1608 - and this fella is such fun to color. He makes me smile as I color with copics, and he's lived at our house for a long time too. Couldn't find a link at the AI webstore, even with the numbers...These companies are missing the market by not designing more Irish theme stamps & dies, IMHO. I know quite a few Irish crafters who are searching for these items. Saw some high prices on eBay.
- Created background, embossed with a Darice Shamrock EF, which doesn't show well in the photo
- Reverse Confetti Cuts All Framed Up. Used several of the frames from cutting VOS St. Pat's themed DP.
- sentiment inked with 2 different green inks, then heat ep with some silver pearl, hand cut fish tail.
Top o' the afternoon to you, and come back when you have time! Big hugs
This image is such fun Mary and I love the way you have coloured him with lots of wonderful hightlights and shadows, and given him such a pretty background too. x

ReplyDeletePerhaps it's because of my own senior status, Mary, but I really like this senior leprechaun - LOL!! Your background and the frames highlight him well. And he's beautifully colored. This is totally fun!
ReplyDeleteCute card!! Love your coloring!
ReplyDeleteI agree, Mary. This is one of the cutest St. Patrick's Day Leprechauns I've seen and you've colored him beautifully! Your St. Patrick's Day cards are stacking up!
ReplyDeleteHis face reminds me of someone I know! I think it's the moustache. I want to echo everyone and say you did a fantastic job of coloring. Great hightlights and shadows. He is a cutie.

hubby is watching a quiz show on tv and just as I opened this post there was this question about what these Irish gnomes are called. I think perhaps I might have remembered leprechaun, but those on the tv show did not:) cute one he is!
ReplyDeleteHi Mary,
ReplyDeleteoh my I love this card and your wonderful image is so very sweet and lovely.
You have coloured him perfectly as well.
Great and super designing also, and lovely embossing too.
You sure have the wonderful knack of these types of cards.
As you say such a pity they don't do more with this type of theme as there are so many Irish decendants that live in the US.
Love and big hugs from my house to yours.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
Such a cute little leprechaun and great colouring and layout

ReplyDeleteThis one just makes me smile from ear to ear Momma Mary! I love this image and the way you have colored him! You did the background so cool too, love it! It keeps the attention on our little leprechaun but gives visual interest at the same time! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteOooo what a great little character and a fabby layout too, Luv Sam x
ReplyDeleteJust so cute...love your sweet chubby leprechaun! He is just too darn cute.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute card, Mary! Your colouring looks amazing! I don't make cards for St. Patrick's Day so I love seeing them! Adorable!
ReplyDeleteThis cute leprechaun looks mischievous for some reason - it's something in the eyes! LOL Love his bright red elf shoes and the pretty design of your card too. Shivering shamrocks, St Patrick's day is coming up soon isn't it?! I gave away all of my St Patrick's stamps too, what was I thinking?
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fun image! What a shame that he's no longer available. I agree that companies are missing out by not having more St Patrick's Day stamps, now my daughter lives in the Republic of Ireland with her Young Man and baby, suddenly I have lots more Irish friends to send appropriate cards to, and I don't want to send them the same thing every year!
ReplyDeleteI hope you are keeping well!
love Mags B x
Your coloring of this lil Leprechaun is just fabulous! I love this great card!
ReplyDeleteI love this card! First, your background is so pretty and you created a lovely layout to showcase the leprechaun. You coloured him so perfectly...I love him. Can I be so bold to say that he reminds me of Charlie Weaver from the original Hollywood Squares:)
ReplyDeleteHe's a cheerful chap, must have found more than a pot of gold at the end of his rainbow!! x
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute fellah, and beautifully coloured too Mary! Such a fun card! Love the new 'header' here on your blog too BTW! Luv n’ Hugs. Hazel xx
