Blue Floral Get Well

Welcome - always happy to have you stop for a visit. Today's card was started with a recycled floral bouquet. The original card was just too pretty to not share again. The card has been received, so remembered I could share it here, and do a little break from all the Valentine cards.

- Oval Double Stitched die for the pretty flowers, which had some additional shading added with colored pencils, then added Nuvo Crystal drops in the centers.

- S/B lacy oval die for the mat.

- Dots Embossing folder for the banner.

- Bazzill textured navy card base, added small strips of the same paper used for the banner.

I hope it made the recipient happy to know we were thinking of her and sending hugs & prayers.

Thanks for joining me this evening, and Big hugs coming your way.

  5. I love the blue and this is so bright and spring like which is nice to see. In my neck of the woods it has been grey and gloomy and raining right now but could change to freezing rain so your card made me smile...thank you

  13. Oh my Momma Mary, this is a beautiful card! I love the color combo and love that you recycle this beautiful image! I have such a hard time doing that and I don't know why. Maybe because the images I love on store bought cards are to big?? I don't know, but this one sure is a beautiful one definitely worth sharing and seeing again in a new card. Hugs, Brenda

  15. Hi Mary, what a pretty card, beautiful shades of blue and design.
Card-io stamps are the one you use with the little pegs. The range is fabulous and so well made. I love watching the demonstrator lady at the craft show creating cards, she is so quick and makes it all look so easy, hope you are well, Kate x

  16. Stunning card Mary! I so love those beautiful flowers set so nicely in those gorgeous background colors. I am so behind in commenting since I've been so busy with the twins. I did post some pictures of them on their 4 month birthday earlier this week. Have a wonderful day!

  17. Now that is two shades of blue that you don't often see together but boy do they look swell on your card here. The blue floral image is lovely. Phase 2 of the bathroom refurbishment kick started today so I'm holed up in my craft room trying to keep away from the smell of the sizing on the walls and the paint fumes. Hugs Mrs A.
