Hello everyone, and thanks so much for stopping to visit. I'm sharing my first card done with a digi image from Bugaboo Digi Stamps, one of the sponsors at Jo's Scrap Shack for the Friday Funday Challenge #13, Anything Goes. Isn't this little bear the most adorable creature?
- Digi was printed on Copic Xpress paper, colored with my trusty copic markers. It was so much fun to color him too. Airbrushed the blue background after diecutting with S/Binder Label #4.
- Green mat paper is from a 6x6 Christmas pack, probably one of the My Mind's Eye purchased on sale...and the border was a snippet from another piece in that same pack. Punched with an MS border punch. The mat was diecut with the S/Binder Gold #4, and I used wax paper before adding the DP, so it released extremely well. I like this die, but usually forget to use the wax paper and then have to fiddle to get the diecut out easily.
- Cardbase was covered with paper from a 6x6 My Mind's Eye Sweater Weather...I liked the rather Nordic look of the poinsettia design on the paper, and thought it would go well with the little bear.
- added some felt poinsettias (there's 2 glued together with Glossy Accents). No yellow pearls for stamens, so I colored some light green pearls. It's great to be able to change these colors to one that works. Usually I will do this with white pearls, but couldn't find the size I needed - the tiny green ones were handy, so Voila! yellow stamens from green pearls.
- Hobby Lobby Paper Studio rhinestone holly motif was sale item that I've had for a few years, thought it worked on this card. Will add an Elizabeth Craft diecut sentiment to the bottom right corner when I'm ready to send this one to a specific person in my family who loves bears!
Hope you like this card. This Friday Funday Challenge, Anything Goes is a really fun one to try. Please go over to Jo's Scrap Shack to check on all the information and see the other fabulous digital stamps used by the Design Team. If you have any Bugaboo Digital Stamps, by all means, use one, but if not, use whatever you may have. If I can have fun with a digi image, so can you!
As always, thanks so much for joining me, and have a wonderful day. Hugs
