One other request I'd like to ask of my followers is to say some strong prayers for one of our blog friends, Jill of Ribbon Challenged. Jill is having to deal with a rough patch of health issues just at the moment and both she & Irish Cherokee are in need of some uplifting in prayer to get through this time. I would also greatly appreciate knowing all our friends are sending up some power prayers for them at this time. We can all use prayer in our lives, and there's strong power when so many voices uplift. Thank you.
Now the card for today is another PRECOLORED Deedee's digi (one of the designs on the September Challenge of the month's set).
Image was printed on GP cardstock, die cut with an MFT pierced oval. Some copic added shading, WoS for a bit of glimmer, and some white gel pen for the cider froth.
Design papers are also from DeeDee's Digis Hay Ride and were snippets from an earlier card. It's great to know these files are on the computer and can be printed off any time for a project.
- dies are from Tattered Lace Winter Florals (maple leaves and pinecones) and a new set of Prima dies that just came in the mail (the oak leaf).
- Red hearts were brown die cut snippets from another project, and a couple of layers of red Smooch covered up the brown quite nicely.
Computer generated sentiment was die cut with a S/B banner die, interior portion sponged with DI Tea Dye.
A very easy card to make indeed, once I started. I'll say it again: Love having the precolored images.
Please check the top tab of Cards by Friends to see a sweet card that came from Brenda W. of Inkspired to Stamp. Her beautiful card arrived with some added little surprises, and on a day when I needed a good cheer up too. Thanks Brenda, for thinking of us.
Don't forget that it's not too late to play along with the September Challenge at DeeDee's Digis.
You can purchase this month's featured set for just $1.25 in the shop. If you participated in last month's challenge, you should have already received this featured set in your email (but if you participated last month and haven't received your set, please contact DeeDee - as sometimes thing can go wrong with email.). This is a great way to have some fun and build up your digi collection too. The Design Team has some fabulous inspiration for you, using this cute set, plus there's a new release for the month as well. Do check it out.
Thanks for joining me this afternoon. Hope your day is going just swell. Blessings & Hugs.
