Hi, and welcome to my first post as a proud DT Member at Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge. Our assignment for the July Challenge was "Trees"...so without further blah-blah, here we go:
- green background was created with Brusho water crystals {or Dylusions! I have a bunch of these backgrounds, and never remember exactly what I used :-) }.Obsession Impression Fancy Tree die cut the base, and there is an overlay in the same set that cut the gold vellum paper. Added some clear crystals for some bling.
- Adhered to white mat die cut with an MFT cross stitch rectangle die.
- pearlized green card base was embossed with a Sue Wilson pierced die from the Noble Collection.
- Starform sticker for the sentiment, to keep this one rather CAS. What do you think?
Why not join in with the new HLS Christmas Challenge for this month? There will be lots of inspiration to get us all ready for the big day that is fast approaching. C'mon along, have some fun.
Thanks for joining me today. Come again when you can, and in the meantime, Big hugs from me to you.

Hi Mary, many congratulations on becoming a member of the HLS Christmas Design Team and so well deserved! This card is very pretty with the green and gold and I love the Brusho patterned trees with the gold overlay and the SW die you have embossed in the background works beautifully behind the trees. x

ReplyDeleteCongrats Momma Mary on your new DT gig!! I know you will be a great asset to the team! I love your card. The tree's backgrounds are so pretty and give such interest to the trees. The old overlay is fabulous with the sprayed backgrounds! I can't tell if you have gems on the trees or if they are little sequins, but they sure look pretty as does the embossing! Your tiny sentiment is perfect to finish off this lovely card. Hugs, Brenda
