Get Well

Good Morning, as we're wending our way down to the weekend. I'm back with another card to share, and without further blah, blah - here it is:

- Penny Black transparent image from the set Enjoy Life, colored with copics on Xpress paper. Diecut with S/B Label 14, smudged with DI Victorian Velvet & Milled Lavendar.

- Green mat diecut with S/B Fleur de Lis Rectangle from an 8x8 Colorbok pack I found in Walmart.

- Pink mat from K&Co. Brenda Walton 8.5x8.5 pk, with some lovely floral papers. The sheet I chose was pretty on each side, so I used it for the remaining parts of the card. Diecut the pink side with S/Binders Gold Elements One, which is a triangle shape. Made the first cut, then rotated the die; moved it slightly so that it did not set directly on top of the previous edge (see the dotted perforation in the middle of the square). Recut the same paper, so as to create a square. I like this look.

- Covered the white cardbase with the reverse side of the Brenda Walton paper, and added all the layers.  I left a space to add another small diecut with a stamped sentiment - or using one of my word dies. Think this is going to be finished as a Get Well card...it's rather cheery, and I find I'm going to be needing that kind of card soon.

I recently received an email with the following link. If you have time, check out the link...there's some very inspiring pictures, with some lovely music...I enjoyed it, so  hope you might as well.

Thanks for stopping to visit, hope you enjoy the card, and have a wonderful afternoon. Hugs

  1. Lovely paper, gorgeous image. What a great card. I love those birds.
I made a card this a.m. and it was a disaster. Forgot I was supposed to use certain colors and used the wrong ones for the challenge. Probably go to the garbage. Time wasted.
