Hello again, and I wanted to share another beautiful card from the Christmas blessings we received from some of the Blog Buddies who were so kind to share their talents with us.

Karen's Card

This is simply stunning done on kraft with expert pencil coloring and some sparkles added.

Kay's Card
I am guessing that Kay, who is a skilled photographer, took the picture of this rustic cross against the textured walls. It is so striking with the simplicity of the cross & stark contrasts of the shadows & lights. So very beautiful a reminder of what the Christmas holiday celebrates.

I think I've shared all the wonderful handmade cards we were blessed to receive. Once again, I'd like to extend our thanks to those skilled cardmakers who shared their talent, time - and not to mention postage costs - to my husband and me. You will never know just how special it made the BOTH of us feel. So stay warm, and many hugs and thanks for your visit & support.

  4. Hi Mary

I have been having a little backtrack (I am so behind it is unbelievable .. sorry). You certainly received a wide range of beautiful cards from your blog buddies.

  5. Thank you for your visits this week, Mary, and the lovely comments you left for me. You have had a lovely lot of hand made cards this year, with some real gems among them. I really treasure any card that anyone takes the time and trouble to make for me, and keep them all, bringing them out again in future years - just because I can and I want to show them off again. I intend to put mine on my WOYWW posting this week. Being a follower of Barbara Gray, who has blogged every single day since she started, even through Christmas and New Year, I am determined to be more diligent with my own. Hope to see you again in the near future. xx Maggie

  12. Hi Mary - just popped over to check that you are OK, these cards are lovely as well, so I am glad I popped by. I was worried 'cos you hadn't put a card on CCC's site for last Sunday, but I can see that you are OK, thank goodness.

Hugs to you and hope 2014 brings wonderful things for you and yours.
