G'morning lovely visitor, and thanks for surfing in on a Sunday morning. Here's another Valentine Sorry to have another Valentine motif, but I still have a couple of special ones that need to be made, then get inserts done on the others I've already shared. Check my list of recipients and make sure I've got all of them covered with a card.
- Memory Box Cupid Heart (98281) cut with red velvet paper
- Serafina Heart (98278) cut with a snippet of silver pattern hologram paper
- C/B Hugs & Kisses EF - folder was inked with Memento Love Letter prior to running through the Big Shot.
- Impression Obsession Die017-V set (there's 2 die patterns) on red & white snippety strips
- Paper Studio Peel-off silver stickers for bottom trimming.
- cardbase is white, and tiny pearls added on the Serafina heart and on the border red trim.
Don't think I'll put a sentiment on the outside of this. I think the recipient will know what it's for.
Ya'll enjoy your Sunday, hope you are keeping warm in your part of the world. Thanks for visiting, and Hugs.
Mary, that's a beautiful heart and you've used such pretty dies on this card. I LOVE that embossing folder and how you've inked it. I don't think I've seen that folder before.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.
Mary this is just wonderful, had that Serafina Heart die in my hand on Saturday was in two minds if to buy it or not, put it back on the rack but I can see me going back into the craft shop and buying it. Hazel x

No need to apologize for Valentine's cards! I, for one, still need the inspiration. This is a very lovely card. As soon as I saw the backing heart under the Serafina one, I just had to know what it was made of. I knew it wasn't regulation cardstock. Velvet paper is the bomb!
ReplyDeleteI really love this Serafina die and like Hazel I have been tempted. Gorgeous card. Christine x
ReplyDeleteThis is so gorgeous!! I love the beautiful heart!! The silver hologram paper is fabulous!! And the embossing is so awesome!! Have a great day :)

Gorgeous valentine card Mary. Beautiful heart, love the red and silver combo. The ef looks fab too. I must try colouring the folder before embossing too as it looks so effective, TFS, Cathy x

ReplyDeleteOh my Momma Mary, this card is gorgeous! I love that heart and love that you used red velvet for the base of that heart. The holographic paper looks so pretty on top of the velvet heart and who know that the borders were stickers?! I thought you had punched them until I kept reading. I also loved the inked embossed background. Gosh I haven't done that in so long! Might have to do it again sometime. lol Hope you are having a good day today Momma Mary! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteYou sound quite organized and your valentine is beautiful. Thank Mary - you gave me an idea for another Christmas card!

ReplyDeleteThis is lovely Mary, and I like the way the Memory Box Heart and Serafina dies go together. You have inked up the embossing folder beautifully, and the colours with the red and white die cut border and the silver sticker edge co-ordinate perfectly. x
