DeeDee's September Challenge of the Month - Fall Warm Up

Hi once again. Changing hats (and seasons) to share a card made with DeeDee's September Challenge of the Month Fall Warm up set.  This is another delightful digi, with precolored images but also includes outline images if you prefer to use your own colors. This Month, DeeDee's gang is celebrating the (almost) start of Fall with a little chipmunk friend. He is keeping warm as the weather turns cooler dressed in his fluffy green sweater & sipping his yummy cup of cider.

I am finding that it's lovely to have a precolored image to jazz up a little if I wish (or not), and make a card - since I'm rather a slow card maker. I'm still relatively new to the world of Digi. I'm happy to say that while these images are quite suited to my own taste in design, they are also easy to use.  I've read many ways that digis can be embossed or otherwise changed up (which I don't know how to do -- YET!),  I've simply been using them printed off on white cardstock, then adding more shading or embellishment. Easy-Peasy.

- Image printed, die cut with an MFT pierced oval, shaded with DI blues around the edges. Some copics used for shading within this cheeky Chipmunk and his cup of cider. (WoS, WoL).

- Lil Inker Stitched Small Sunshine  die, (white c/s was colored with copics, added WoS).

-Tattered Lace Winter Florals (white c/s, colored with copics & shaped a bit with a stylus).

- Computer generated sentiment was die cut with a S/B label die.

- white card base covered with a 6x6 WeRMemory Keepers Anthologie pattern paper.

You can purchase this month's featured set for just $1.25 in DeeDee's shop. If you participated in last month's challenge, you should have already received this set in your email. (If you participated but didn't receive the set yet, please contact DeeDee as sometimes things do go wrong with email).

I'm off to link up this Chipmunk at DeeDee's Digi of the Month Challenge, and also
at Darnell's NBUS Challenge #2. . I hope you'll find time to join in the fun at both places.

Once again, many thanks for spending some time with me this afternoon; I love reading your comments if you've time to leave one. I will do my best to get back on visits to enjoy my visitors' creations too. Big September Hugs.

Edit: Found out from Our Darnell that this fall card would fit in the The Paper Players Challenge  Happy Fall theme so linked there as my 3rd  challenge link. Thanks Darnell!

  40. Mr. chipmunk is too stinkin cute. Makes me want to break my shopping moratorium. :) I really like the die cut leaves and acorn. I didn't realize they were made of paper at first. They came out fantastic. Yet another item for my wish list. You may be a slow card maker but you do an amazing job and include some many fabulous details on your cards. So you should definately not worry about taking your time.
