Impression Obsession-Paper Cuts Class Sample |
Hello & thanks for stopping in to visit this afternoon. Here is another card made in the pre-convention class I took Friday, Sept. 14. It was a fairly easy & quick card using the pre-cut card kits we were given by the Paper Cuts. The yellow backgrounds were created using Impression Obession Cover A Card stamps stamping layers in various shades of yellow. The top layer was created in the same manner, then overstamping with small & medium large flowers in darker tones of yellow ink. The thistle-down looking flowers & the sentiment were stamped in black, and the yellow layers adhered to black cardstock. I'm sorry, but I don't remember the specific names of the Cover A card stamps. This is a fantastic technique to create your own design paper, and it's amazing how different each effort looks if you use different colors of ink. It also makes a difference which ink is laid down first...If you have a chance, try this technique. I think you'll be pleased with your results. Have a great evening.
Oh this is GORGEOUS Mary! I'm not a fan of yellow but this could change my mind. :)

That background technique is most effective. Must give it a try . The whole card is very chic. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card. I like all the stamping techniques you've used and the stamps are gorgeous. Elizabeth xx
