Halloween

Hello, and yet another Halloween card. I have a ton of Halloween stamps, (and I like the cute ones, not the gruesome ones!). So here goes: The stamp is a Stampability House Mouse, Interview with the Vampire. Colored - of course - with copics, airbrushed background, some Spica pens. I used a Signe white pen on the fangs to emphasize the teeth. Diecut with S/B Label 8, Die #4. Traced the same die onto purple paper, to get a mat, which I handcut. The B&W circle paper is from a new Mind's Eye paper pack on sale at A C Moore recently. The other papers were from the stash. The sentiment is from an MS Adhesive pack from last year. I added some dots at each side of the sentiment, using Black Viva Decor pearls. Thanks for visiting, and I promise to try to do something besides Halloween, but I have several I needed to get ready. AND I wanted to use these cute stamps. Now I need to get some Thanksgiving and Christmas cards ready!

  1. Hi Mary, you made this beautifully. Love HM stamps and this is adorable, lovely colouring and Labels 8 is one of my most loved SB dies - has to be about their most useful one.

  7. What cute Halloween cards you have made Mary! I am loving the House Mouse stamps and you are so good at coloring them with your Copics! I have purchase Spectrum Noir markers and have some practicing to do with them. lol But I am loving them so far. I am sorry that you mom has Lupus. I'm sure there wasn't much about Lupus then or even now for that matter. I have found that learning to manage my time and mourning who I used to be is the key for managing this desease. I know that I have to pace myself if I want to get through the whole day and I also know that I can't do what I used to could do-in other words, I'm not super mom anymore. Which is ok because my boys are grown up except for the baby and he is all but there at the age of 16 1/2. I am loving your blog and so glad that I was able to jump on over here and follow along with you. Isn't technology wonderful when it works nice?! lol
