Good morning, welcome to another Wednesday WOYWW. If you don't know what WOYWW is, here's the place to learn at
Miss Julia's where lots of crafters/cardmakers will share the goodness that is around their craft spaces today. Some are neat, some are tidy, some are messy, ALL are such fun, so please give yourself a treat and check this out! Here's some pictures I'm sharing (and yes, they are piled on my already messy desk). Just some of the treasures I picked up at last Saturday's Heirloom Stamp Show in Lawrenceville, Ga. The shelf above my desk has a fluorescent lamp affair attached to the underside of the shelf, courtesy of the DH. My stamp area is in a basement which has small ground level windows that allow limited natural light to enter a fairly largish room. I need plenty of artificial light. When I'm coloring an image while watching tv, I always take it upstairs to our kitchen table, where there is a window that admits lots of light, to check the colors. Here goes with the pictures...
Some stamps (from the show), some Cheery Lynn Dies (projects I'm working on), a SU emboss border which I recently purchased)
Closer view of the new treasures, MS punches being used on some projects, an image I colored and experimented with using UTEE (ultra thick embossing enamel) on areas of the image
Be sure to pop over to
WOYWW and check out some fun craftiness from all over the world. Have a blessed day. Come again when you have time.
it looks like you and I have been very naughty and bought lots of lovely crafty things. You have some great stamps there for hours of fun

ReplyDeleteSo nice to meet someone close by, love your blog title! Do you ever get over to Donna Downey's studio? I love visiting there. Looks like you have a nice investment in Marth Stewart punches :) Thank you for taking the time to visit my desk today, waving hi from the hills of North Carolina ♥
ReplyDeleteSo you went on a shopping spree in Lawrencville? My friend Sally lives there and I am now wondering if you know her? Not sure how ;big the place is so may be like asking someone who lives in California if they know my friend Mary. Just wondering, there is many a surprise around each corner.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit to my blog and happy WOYWW.
Hugs, Neet xx

ReplyDeleteOMG! I would feel so at home at that desk! Love all the stamps and punches. I have so many of each but don't have any of the heartfelt stamp line. Need to get that farm scene one for sure. Thanks for sharing and for visiting my desk this week. Love getting those comments! Vickie #32
ReplyDeleteOooh, I have just seen those beautiful Martha Stewart punches, and now I am salivating. Need those! I think the brayering bit you may be thinking of is actually an email I sent to Shaz from Oz earlier this week about brayering backgrounds with cling film. If I get time, I will do a post about it, but in the meantime, if you would like to email me, I will send you the rather untidy version of the instructions. Have a good week. xx Maggie #20
ReplyDeletePS I am glad it is not just me having problems leaving comments on some blogs. I do not understand Google+ and until I do, I am definitely not changing over.
