Halloween

Hello and thanks for joining me on a beautiful Saturday morning. We've gotten some Halloween cards ready so I hope to get started on Fall themed cards in the next day or two. We always remember someone else to whom we should send a card, so you may see another Spooky here & there! We've never had this much of a head start on a holiday before. Feels good! (The Blogger made me do it! :-} )

I've been seeing so many wonderful cards using the Memory Box window die and I thought the image used in this next card would be perfect for a window die. Here goes:

- Memory Box Madison Window die

- Memory Box sentiment (Spare Parts brads), stamped in Colorbox Fluid Chalk Pumpkin ink, sponged with DI Vintage Photo.

- S/B Flourish Trim Deelight die behind sentiment.

- Paper Studio woodgrain EF on kraft. Inked the EF with Memento Rich Cocoa before embossing.

- solid Great Impressions witch image stamped with Archival Black ink on white card stock; masked - then airbrushed with copics. There's lots of layers of airbrushing to get the evening sky look. The piece had dried for a while,  didn't feel 'tacky', but in removing the mask, I got a fingerprint just above her feet.  We're calling this boo-boo a design element!!! Used C4 for the shadow around Witch's outline.

I will claim this card as my creation, but DH's idea.

Hope your weekend is off to a good start. Enjoy it, and come again. Porch is nice & clean - for a little while anyway! We can sit a spell, rock & watch the neighbors pass & give a wave. That's what we do here in South Carolina! Hugs.
