Happy Sunday afternoon, and Welcome! It's really a beautiful Fall day here in our Upstate South Carolina community today...very pleasant after the gloomy drizzles yesterday. Here's a card I made some weeks ago, while playing with Dylusions sprays, creating backgrounds. I used the same Memory Box stamp to make the fall card on this post.
- Memory Box image stamped in Memento Cottage Ivy against a Dylusions sprayed background. Intended to use a S/B D-lite die cut tree over the stamping, decided to use the sentiment square instead.
- sentiment is from a 6-pk set of small stamps purchased long ago..probably Hero Arts. SU Scallop punch for the black matting (both were snippets). DI Scattered Straw smudged over the white square after stamping with DI Stormy Sky. Yellow smudging makes the sentiment look green, doesn't it?
- Black pearls finished off this very easy-to-make card. It's wonderful to have these backgrounds handy to stamp. I know exactly where this one will get mailed.
Thanks for joining me this afaternoon. I'm off to try to visit some lovely blogs, and enjoy some wonderful inspiration. Also need to update a data base with some purchases made in recent weeks, and who knows, I may even get around to straightening up my very messy craft room. Whatever you may do this afternoon, I hope it's pleasant and something that fills you with joy. Hugs

The image is fabulous but you sure made it more so with those wonderful inks and sprays you used. Have fun if you get to straighten the craft room. I haven't been near mine today.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful trees and background - came out great!
ReplyDeleteThose spray inks really do give your card a nice effect! I especially like the way the blue background gradually turns into a pretty green color! Those trees look delicate and beautiful! NJ!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful background and a beautiful card once again! Love what you do with the dylusions! So pretty and that pop of blue behind the image really makes it pop!
