Easter Hedgie

Hiya...just posted a Blog Candy Post as a sticky note, and hope I got that done correctly. It should stay at the top of the blog until the draw the winner date.

Now back again to share a belated Easter card, which finally got finished - too late for 2016, but will be ready for 2017! Here goes:

- Penny Black image, colored with copics (long before Easter got here...just slow to make a card with this cutie).

- MBox Postage Stamp Square die, edged with DI Picked Raspberry.

- Black Glitter snippet cut with the classic S/B square that fit the Postage die for a mat.

- Paper Cuts premade bib card was covered with a created background that had been embossed. (hard to see the embossing in the photo, but it's there!). This premade card has a circle cutout on the front, and normally there is an overlay that goes with this card, which has the cutout in it. Since I chose to use my created background, I used a S/B class circle die that 'sort of' fit into the opening, die cut the created background to appropriate shape.

- SU Circle Punch to create the sentiment, sponged with DI Victorian Rose, stamped a greeting, and Voila, just need to add a verse to the inside, and it's ready to go next Easter. You probably already know, Hedgie is probably my favorite Penny Black critter, and when I saw this one with his bunny ears, just couldn't resist him. I'm weak minded like that!

Thanks for joining this evening, hope you had a grand Saturday. I did House Work (UGH!). Sunday should be a Free Day....{smiling}. Ya'll have a good evenin'. Hugs

  11. This is so cute. I love the hedgie with his Easter egg. Those ears are a hoot. My favorite is that gorgeous background done with soft Easter colors. So pretty. I spent a big part of Saturday trying to get the john fixed. Lots of sand in the tank causing trouble. Still very cold here with a little snow yesterday morning and a few flurries today!

  21. I've just been looking through all the lovely cards you've posted on your blog over the last few weeks. I'm not sure what's going on, but they haven't been coming up in the list of blogs I'm following. I thought it was strange that you hadn't been posting, so thought I check out your blog to see if you were off on a trip somewhere. Your blog is listed under my 'hidden blogs' now - no idea why. If you know how I can get your posts to appear in my 'reading list' again, please let me know. xx

  24. I'm not sure my last comment was published or not - blogger seems to be playing tricks lately. I've been looking at all your recent lovely creations. For some reason your posts are not appearing in my 'reading list' of favourite blogs. I thought it was strange you hadn't posted for a while, so I thought I'd check your blog to see if you've been on a trip. I've no idea why this is happening. In my list of blogs I follow, yours is one of a few which now appears under the heading of 'hidden'. I've no idea how to sort it out to get it all working normally. xx
