Halloween

Hello & welcome. Back again today with another of DH's cards. As you can probably tell, his cardmaking tastes differ greatly from my own...but hey, that's ok. I tell him go for it. Just don't add layers & layers & raised embellies, cause it's expensive to mail. These he is making will be sent to buddies he used to work with. When he doesn't send any cards at Halloween, we get emails asking "Where's Joe's card?".

- Skeleton is a Hero Arts Dancing Skeleton cling that he picked out. He cut the trims using decorative edge scissors, punched moon & bat.

- Remaining items were purchased embellies that he found here & there in our travels.

- Bone is a brad, a dog bone actually, and I'm not sure why he added this..but it's his design, so whom am I to question His Art! (I'm trying to get him interested in the Dylusions spray stuff as he likes airbrushing, when the mood hits him. Also I think he'll like the Gelli plate, if I ever get it out of the packaging!)

Thanks for your visit, and come again when we can go set a spell on the front porch in the rocking chairs. That's what we in the South do when the weather starts to cool along towards fall. Pretty soon it will be time to break out the autumn decorations, so we have to get our porch cleaned off this week. Then do some window washing 'fore it gets cold weather. Not one of my favorite tasks! Ya'll have a great day. Hugs

  1. Super Halloween card your hubby made. Sounds as if his buddies look forward to them and that makes it even more fun to make them.
I have intended to get the Gelli plate but that is another thing on the list. Ha
Wish I could join you on the porch..what's better than that?

  8. So cool that your dh likes to make the Halloween cards!

It sure is almost the time to decorate the front porch...and I too have to wash my windows! Need to do that while the weather is cool so they don't streak!
