Penny Black Gift Stamp
Hello bloggers. We have another cool & gloomy day in Upstate SC. This is one of the stamps I received from leaving a comment at the Penny Black blog recently, when new stamps were being introduced. I loved this little girl with the bird in her hand. She was a joy to color up with copics, let me say. The diecut is the Grand Decorative Ovals One, die #2, and the background border is a mylar Shimmerz sheet, embossed with a Darice snowflake EF. The blue paper is a blue moire - probably from JoAnn's...I chose it because it's silky looking. I added the new Impression Obsession snowflake diecuts, using silvery holograph paper. I used some 'snow' under her boots. Along the falling snowflakes in the image, added some MS coarse glitter while the snow was wet. The sentiment was stamped with Colorbox Fluid Chalk ink, embossed with Ranger clear detail EP; diecut withS/B Label 14, die #3, sponged inside the die to match the main image. I traced around the inside of the die with a glue pen, added a bit of glitter to it. IRL this is a very sparkly card..unfortunately my photography skills are not up to showing just how much it glitters. I was quite pleased with this image, and absolutely love that it was a gift from the fabulous Penny Black folks. I will definitely be coloring this image again, and I think I'll go for an all-blue look next time. Since this is a rather largish image, the card had to be larger than I normally make. This one will be hand delivered to a very special Daughter!
Since this was a PB gift stamp, I'm going to enter it in the October Challenge at Penny Black & More.  I'm trying to figure out how to post it at the Penny Black blog, since my comment at that blog is how I got this sweet stamp.
